Raft is the newest recording project of Nicholas Bolton (Ex Wife, Wetwired, Arsenic).

Raft's debut album, The Lows, is a collage of sounds that Nick recorded over a span of 2 months in 2018. It's strung together using field recordings to create a lo-fi near-narrative, droning and building.

All songs were recorded live in Nick's kitchen, using exclusively eurorack modular synthesizers. Drums were played and recorded by Phil Connor (Glazer, Ex Wife, Wetwired) at In The West, then sampled and looped in the modular world.
